Meeting Overview:

The purpose of this meeting is to update members on ACC developments, including cohort progress and cross-cohort activities, and discuss advances in the field which further the ACC mission.

Submitting a Project Proposal:

If you would like to submit a proposal for a project that can be done in the ACC, please follow the instructions on our Working with the ACC page. Proposals that do not follow this format will be returned to the author for resubmission.

Project proposals should be emailed to the Coordinating Center by Wednesday, September 1, 2010.

Submitting a Poster Abstract:

Our upcoming meeting in Seoul will feature a poster session on the first day of the meeting. Posters can cover any topic related to cohort studies. Anyone interested in presenting a poster should submit an abstract on the portal by September 13, 2010. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by September 17, 2010.

Travel Grants Available:

Daehee Kang and his staff at SNU have also secured funding for several travel grants. These travel grants are available to attendees from developing countries (as listed by the World Development Report 2009) presenting a meritorious scientific poster at the 2010 ACC conference. To submit a poster abstract, please see above.

Travel grants will consist of a reimbursement check of a maximum US $1,000 per recipient. Award recipients will make their own travel and housing arrangements. Travel grant recipients will be notified of their acceptance by September 17, 2010.
